About Us

The Alliance was an idea of two good friends one of whom is Randolph Aungst stays in Clearwater Florida and the other Tommy Brookes who lives in Scotland just on the outskirts of Scotland's newest City , the City of Stirling.

Randolph Aungst and his wife Mae both have considerable knowledge and experience of travel between America and Scotland having run tours for over 20 years. They both also have a sound knowledge of travel around Scotland since Mae is Scottish by birth and left Scotland when she married Randy and settled in Florida, Randy served with the American forces and was based in Scotland and has always maintained his love of Scotland by visiting regularly.

Tommy Brookes has considerable experience in organizing holiday groups since he used to take large groups to various resorts all over Europe , including Eastern Europe and also to Africa, the quality of these was shown by the fact that most of his customers were repeat bookings or word of mouth recommendations. Tommy has also considerable experience in dealing with the public as a Councilor for 20 years and was honored to be the first Provost ( Mayor) of the City of Stirling and was given the Letters Patent to authorize Stirling as a City from H.M. the Queen something of which he was immensely proud.

He was also honored by the people of Dunedin Florida when he was asked to be Chieftain at their Highland Games in 1999 and still has close friendships with many people there. During the period of being Provost he worked closely with the Local and Area Tourist Boards on various projects involving British, European and International who were visiting Scotland and learned from that what various groups required to give them the kinds of holidays and enjoyment they wanted.

We are therefore confident that we can provide our client members with the utmost satisfaction. Since becoming established they have enlisted Suzanne Etzell from Illinois as part of their team covering Northern America. Suzanne became involved with the organisation after enjoying a holiday in Scotland with SATA.

She had such a good time, and found the Tour Operators in SATA made the holiday exceptional by personally travelling with the Group on all of the trips, assisting, organising and advising throughout. She felt like she would like to become involved in working in such a unique organisation.
